Oh my...

Just when I thought that I'd had enough excitement for one day:

Barbie gets all the luck.

Barbie in L.A.

Despite my recent sojourn to California, I have never felt any great desire to visit Los Angeles. American friends pull faces at the very mention of the city (although most Americans I know are, admittedly, loyal North Californians). Another friend told horror stories of being chased through Compton whilst staying there. So no siree, L.A. has never tickled my fancy. Until I picked up a book called 'Barbie Loves L.A.' in a shop in Richmond today.

That woman has style.

I am dying

I’ve probably used that phrase too many times today, but it has convinced my housemates to bring me cups of tea and Lemsip, fill my hot water bottle (ahh), and get me dinner, whilst I’ve barely had to leave my bed. With this in mind, I’m probably going to exercise this phrase a few times tomorrow too. I’ll see how long it works for.

This is definitely no ordinary flu. Maybe I have man flu. I live with four males (and one female… this isn’t some slutty Snow White situation), so I could easily have contracted it.

Make me a cup of tea, please? It could be your last chance.

Paranormal Activity

Don’t bother. If it fails to scare someone who’s experience of E.T. can only be compared to the trauma of soldiers who have returned from war, it probably isn’t going to scare you either.

Ciao ciao

She's all French and fringe-y and 60s and cool. Just... look at her.
